Acceptable use
Use Chapbook creatively, lawfully and with respect for other people. This policy covers the app, RQAI-operated functions and content processed or published through connected services.
You must not
- break law, court orders, sanctions or another person's privacy, confidence, intellectual-property or publicity rights;
- create, solicit, possess or distribute child sexual abuse material, exploitation/grooming content or non-consensual intimate imagery;
- use deceptive impersonation, phishing, fraud, malware, credential theft, covert surveillance or synthetic media to mislead or harm;
- harass, threaten, incite violence/discrimination or expose sensitive personal data without authority;
- bypass licences/access controls, probe systems without permission, send abusive automated traffic or distribute malicious code;
- use AI for prohibited/high-impact automated decisions or present unverified output as professional advice or established fact;
- conceal legally required AI/synthetic-content disclosures, fabricate evidence/citations/provenance, or send spam/unlawful marketing.
Safety and enforcement
Most content remains local and RQAI does not proactively inspect drafts. We may proportionately restrict RQAI-operated services, preserve evidence where legally required or report imminent harm/unlawful material after a credible report. Challenge an action by emailing support.
Before publishing
Verify facts, sources, quotations and permissions; remove confidential/unnecessary personal data; add AI disclosures; check alt text/captions/contrast; and keep a human editor responsible for the final post.
